                    1. CPU Launched Its 2nd Overseas Universities Education Fair

                      November 8th 2019: 34 the world’s top-ranked universities and higher educational institutions from 9 countries attended the promotional seminar for study-abroad programs at CPU Jiangning Campus. This 3-day event, held under the theme “Zero Distance to the World” with the purpose to provide more study abroad information for CPU students and faculty members.  


                      The Education Fair was first held in 2018 to provide opportunities for overseas partner universities and institutions to promote study-abroad programs.


                      Prof. XU Xiaoyuan, Director at CPU Office of International Cooperation & Exchange, said that with the support from the university leadership, students and the public, CPU has established a variety of study-abroad programs including degree and non-degree, long-term and short-term, scholarship-funded and self-supported. She expressed her hope that more CPU students study abroad to expand their horizons.   


                      In a speech delivered by Prof. Paul White, Dean of Monash University School of Pharmacy, he said that the cooperation between two universities in teaching and research will be strengthened to attain accelerated development.  


                      The attendees include but not limited to: University of Southern California (USA), University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (USA), University of Michigan (USA), University of California, San Diego (USA), University of Manchester (UK), University of Nottingham (UK), Queen's University of Belfast (UK), Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), University of Queensland (AUS), Monash University (AUS), York University (CAN), Canadian Business Office in Nanjing, Angers Business School (FRA), Rennes Higher Business School (FRA), University of Venice (ITA), Moscow State University (RUS), Chiba University (JPN), Nagoya University (JPN), and Kanazawa University (JPN).  


                      ZHANG Baoling the CPC Secretary of CPU Higher Vocational School and School of Engineering, ZHAI Weiwei the Vice President of Jiangsu Food and Drug Vocational and Technical College, were invited to attend the event. LI Yang, the Deputy Director of CPU Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, presided over the opening ceremony.
